7-11 at Main Street and Port Blvd
The franchisee has been looking for a location in Port Washington having previously been denied permission to open in Manhasset. They are currently seeking to open at the corner of Main Street and Port Washington Blvd. Many people have an overall objection to the look of a 7-11 on that corner, while others are more narrowly concerned about what they see as a traffic hazard. The (photoshopped) picture shown here is a worst case scenario, the point being that we should be very concerned about signage and overall look.
